The Bereavement Journey is a 6-week course designed to support those grieving the loss of loved ones or struggling with the long-term effects of loss.

We aim to hold three courses each year, at different churches within the circuit

Topics include:

  • Attachment, separation and loss

  • The impact and pain of bereavement

  • Adjusting to change

  • Anger and guilt

  • Coping with the reactions of others

  • Moving forward healthily

Each session involves two short filmed talks followed by the opportunity to share in conversation.

Our next course will be held at Aldridge Methodist Church on consecutive Monday afternoons at 2pm from 16th February, 2026.

While we understand life can be unpredictable, each session of the Bereavement Journey is designed to build on the one before it. By attending each session, it can make the journey feel more supportive and meaningful - giving you more time and space to understand, connect, reflect and move forward in your grief.

There is no cost for this course, although donations are invited to cover costs. We do ask that you register your interest beforehand at bereavementjourneywalsall@gmail.com
